Chris Stussy has firmly established himself as a tastemaker, selector, producer and label boss at the forefront of the scene, with his own sound pushing house music forward.
2020 marked a significant milestone with the launch of his label, Up The Stuss, a vinyl and digital platform for Chris and his peers to release forward-thinking, timeless club-focused productions. As the label celebrates its 5th anniversary in 2025, it has become a must-visit hub for quality cuts across the electronic sphere.
Home to his ‘Get Together’ project alongside S.A.M., plus material from Kolter, Locklead, Burnski & Kepler, Paolo Rocco, Janeret and more, the imprint reflects not only Chris’s versatility as a producer but also his growth as an A&R and label head.
As a DJ, Chris draws from a wide range of influences, transitioning effortlessly from intimate clubs to major festivals. Notable appearances include stages at Awakenings, Timewarp, Sunwaves and Coachella, as well as standout shows at Warehouse Project, KOKO, Club Space and beyond.
His rise as an Ibiza favourite is underscored by performances at DC10, Hï and Amnesia for events like Circoloco, Paradise, Solid Grooves and The Martinez Brothers, alongside appearances at Hï’s renowned opening parties.
Chris’s schedule continues to be packed with global tours, headline shows and extended sets in his home city, ensuring his presence is felt worldwide. As a producer, his original material, collaborations and remixes continue to captivate both dancers and DJs alike. While each new track demonstrates subtle evolution, they all maintain the distinct sound that has become synonymous with his name.
2024 saw Chris raise the bar, with debut performances at the likes of Timewarp USA, another sold-out UK tour, plus his highly anticipated Boiler Room debut, which garnered over 2 million views.
Chris also took on some of his biggest shows yet, becoming a regular at Circoloco and playing peak-time slots at Awakenings, Creamfields and more, not to mention another sold-out tour of Australia.
In the studio, his productions continued to shine, with a second Across Boundaries outing coupled with releases like his #1 remix of Moby’s ‘Go’ on CSS and his remix of Todd Terry’s ‘Bounce to the Beat’.
His ‘Won’t Stop (Don’t)’ EP on Up The Stuss closed out the year in style, with the title track securing another #1 on Beatport’s Deep House chart, all while introducing a new scholarship program to provide emerging talent with opportunities and mentoring.
2025 kicked off with one of Chris’s biggest milestones to date with the launch of USS, his own event series. Debuting with a sold-out show at London’s iconic Roundhouse, and built around the idea of stripping things back and placing music firmly at the centre of the experience, the concept encourages a mindful atmosphere, removing distractions so audiences can fully immerse themselves.
Quickly gathering momentum, the concept also returned later in the year with a second sold-out edition during ADE, while Chris also debuted his first AV show ‘Linger’ at leading festivals, including Lowlands and Creamfields, further expanding the scope of his performances beyond the traditional DJ format.
Heading into 2026, the year marks the arrival of Chris’s most defining project with the release of his debut album, ‘Lost, Found & Forgotten…’, arriving in April.
Split into three chapters, the album traces various stages and iterations of his sound and its evolution, exploring his former influences, his present perspective and the directions his music is heading.
The project is accompanied by a series of consciously curated, unique headline shows, taking his music to remarkable spaces including Paris’ Eiffel Tower, London’s Alexandra Palace and Brooklyn Army Terminal in New York.
Alongside these landmark performances, USS continues evolving with its Ibiza debut at Pacha across two summer dates, while his community-focused initiatives continue to expand with the second edition of his free N.A.M.E. give-back show heading to Dublin for the first time.
These projects reflect an artist not only sharpening his sound but also the environments and experiences through which his audiences connect, crafting a creative universe from the top down and a world that is as immersive as it is forward-looking.
