With a career spanning 25 years, Paco Osuna is one of the most renowned artists in the electronic music industry. His creativity, courage, and relentless search for new forms of expression are some of his principal and consistent virtues when it comes to making music.
When performing, he is dynamic, lively, intelligent, and sophisticated, with a deep awareness for sound aesthetics. Every session is important to Paco, and he sets out to invent and renew every time he steps onto the stage.
In the studio, Paco Osuna has moulded his own musical signature, coating the purest techno sounds with his characteristic features: depth, darkness, and imagination, always accentuated by his creativity and innovation.
Proof of that are his releases on labels such as Plus8, Minus, Mood, Items & Things, Spectral, Hommage, and his own platform, Mindshake. In addition, he has remixed representative artists including Plastikman, Nicole Moudaber, Matador, Adam Beyer, Seth Troxler, and Monkey Safari.
In 2006, he launched Mindshake, conceived as a platform for the creation and distribution of electronic music. Over the past few years, Mindshake has become one of the most important techno labels in the US and Europe, hosting productions from artists including Cuartero, Carlo Lio, Eats Everything, Popof, Andres Campo, Fer BR, Nick Curly, and Paul Ritch.
In addition, Mindshake presents events around the world. The Mindshake showcases are both an extension of Paco’s musical and artistic vision and a family celebration, where the main goal is to create an intimate and unforgettable experience.
Mindshake also hosts full stages at festivals such as BPM Portugal, ADE Dockyard, WAN Festival, and Medusa Festival, among others.
From 2015, Paco Osuna has been part of Music On, joining Marco Carola in residencies in Ibiza, Miami, and New York, as well as the emblematic parties during BPM Mexico.
In 2016, he was selected to be an ambassador of PLAYdifferently MODEL1, a distinction also received by Loco Dice, Chris Liebing, Dubfire, Matador, Nicole Moudaber, and Richie Hawtin. In 2018, Paco became a Burn Residency ambassador.
In 2019, elrow chose Paco as a flagship artist for their new project Kaos Garden. Produced by elrow’art, Kaos Garden is a visual and sound installation created by contemporary artist Okuda San Miguel and Paco, who represent, through avant-garde art and electronic music, their particular vision of “El Jardín de Delicias” in an experience where the public is part of a great interactive work of art.
Throughout his career, Paco has performed at clubs, parties, and festivals of great prestige. From Fabric and Electric Brixton in London to WOMB Tokyo, Space NYC, Space Miami, Verboten NY, Watergate Berlin, and renowned Ibiza clubs including Amnesia, Pacha, Hï, Ushuaïa, DC10, Privilege, and Destino, his career has taken him to some of the world’s most respected dancefloors.
Among the festivals he has played constantly are Sónar, Awakenings, Kappa Futur, Loveland, Ultra Miami, Electric Zoo, Movement Detroit, Time Warp, and Tomorrowland.
Paco celebrated 25 years in the business in 2020, continuing to sketch the journey that has led him to become the artist he is today through hard work, determination, and love.
